Panthers Open Voting For The Greatest Game In School History

8/4/2008 - For the remainder of the summer, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's soccer team invites its alumni, fans and supporters to vote for the greatest game in school history. Voting for the greatest game in school history is open until 5 p.m. on Aug. 22, just hours before the Panthers host Wisconsin at 7 p.m. in the 2008 season opener. Read Full Release

Milwaukee Recruits Claim Back-to-Back National Championships

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's soccer recruits D.J. Alexander and Eric Frazier, both who will be freshmen at UWM this fall, successfully defended their national championship crown last week at the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships held in Little Rock, Ark. Their Andromeda `90 team, based in north Texas, defeated Shattuck-St. Mary's (Minn.), 3-0, to add to the title it won in 2007. Read Full Release

Panthers Earn AVCA Team Academic Award

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's volleyball team has received the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, the organization announced today. The Panthers are one of 70 Division I women's teams to capture the honor, which is awarded to teams that maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average. The cumulative GPA for the Milwaukee volleyball team is 3.411. Read Full Release
